I have trees blooming
I had bought some trees, 2 apricot trees meant for Southern Californias mild winters, and a "SHOWY 5 in 1" tree, which has 3 branches of nectarines, and 2 branches of peaches on a stock which is meant to withstand our dry hot climate. The nectarines and peaches are blooming and the flowers are indeed showy. Not enough to take pics of as the rest of the garden is tacky looking at this time of year.

Well,you are lucky! We don't have snow, but the temperatures are in the 30's and muddy! Lucky you!

Hi Bobby...I had to drop in over here because, once again, AOL won't let me post anything. Just to let you know I do still read the Tomato board, lol. It is still too cold here, but soon all our trees will be abloom. We have several apple, peach, and cherry trees that bloom fairly early. My favorite tree is the yellow cherry. Birds don't bother the cherries and they are super duper sweet with a mild cherry taste. You asked about Carolina Gold 'maters. They are very meaty and mild and still tomatoey flavored. I love them. They are pretty sturdy plants, but do lay on the ground when large. We try to stuff dry hay under the vines to keep the tomatoes from rotting.
Well, since aol won't let me post today, here I am again! To answer your question, we get our Carolina Gold plants from the farmer down the street! I have no idea where you can get them in your area, but may some googling will turn something up!
