We had a nice turn out especially since we had knitters come from 2 other counties that could have attended their own knitting groups, but we hold ours in San Diegos' Balboa Park, home of the famous San Diego Zoo so it is a wonderful location and perfect weather. Very good day.

She usually just follows the pattern and whatever heel is used in the pattern. She has only made about six pairs. In five different patterns. She likes to learn new patterns and techniques. I'm almost finished with my second sock and then it's on to something new. I do think I'll always have a sock on the needles now though.
