These are 2 pair of socks in the same colorway; the one on the left is a pair by my friend Colleen done on her knitting machine as a test, and they look perfect. She only has to kitchener the toe on the left one. I hand knit the ones on the right for my sister, and the toes have been waiting for a couple of months for me to kitchener them or find someone kind enough to do that for me. I suck at kitcheneering due to knitting with the right hand and sewing with the left. It doesn't orient well at all.
I thought this would be a good example of both styles.

The pictures came out very nice, I thought that was funny you had a pair almost done in the same colorway. I am trying really hard to catch up on my knitting.
I'll kitchener them, but sending them to Germany might not be worth it...

I used to hat to Kitchner, but I found a great tool for it and if I find it I'll email it to you!
